Hierin probeert Chimamanda met vooral veel humor een definitie te geven aan het\u00a0<strong><em>feminisme<\/em><\/strong> gekeken vanuit de 21e eeuw waarin we op dit moment leven.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>&#8220;Culture does not make people. People make culture. If it is true that the full humanity of women is not our culture, then we can and must make it our culture.&#8221;<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Aangezien het op een TED talk gebaseerd is, lees je het boekje in \u00e9\u00e9n klap uit. Ik vond het inspirerend omdat de meeste anekdotes eigenlijk die aan bod komen ook echt voortkomen uit eigen ervaringen zowel in de U.S. als in Nigeria.
